At a special meeting on April 15, the Congregation Council approved May 23 as the first week for returning to indoor worship. We are working on plans and protocols to follow all state regulations and make the service safe for everyone. More details will follow.
The indoor service will be at 10:45an, and there will still be a Zoom service at 9:30 through the summer. Outdoor worship at 10:45 in the Pavillion will continue through May 16.
Thanks to our Reopening Task Force
As we prepare to reopen our church building for in-person worship services beginning May 23, the council would like to thank the members of the Reopening Task Force. This team was comprised of:
Lucy Archamboult, Rhonda Bentz, Pam Hanson, Tim Hanson,
Daryl Hauck, Karen Hyde, Brian Hughes, & Jim Kruger
They put together a comprehensive document that is serving the congregation well in preparing for reopening the building for services. This includes details on what physical preparations need to be made, training needs for people who will assist, and criteria to be met to enable the reopening. The team’s efforts are remarkable, especially given the prompt turnaround and the fact that it was all done during a pandemic during Zoom meetings. Thank you to all members of this team! The council is truly grateful for your service!
